I come in WINTER

Winter is full of surprises in Belledonne-Chartreuse! From family fun skiing to learning to ski, from freeride skiing to snowshoe trekking, the options are varied. For those who like something new, snake gliss and yonner offer unique experiences.

Our destinations in winter

Les 7 Laux is transformed into a winter paradise with activities for everyone. Children can have fun on the TIKI course, while snowpark enthusiasts can enjoy more complex challenges. Three access points make it easy to explore the ski area. As well as skiing, the options abound: Nordic skiing, Wiz luge, snowshoeing, spa, snakegliss, and even dog sled rides. A complete destination for fun and relaxation in the snow.

In winter, Le Collet is transformed into a magnificent ski resort with 11 lifts and a 35km ski area between 1450 m and 2100 m altitude, including a floodlit night skiing area. As well as skiing, the resort offers tobogganing, snowshoe trekking, speed riding, ski joëring and avalanche transceiver courses. Entertainment, including torch-lit descents, adds a festive touch to this all-round winter destination.

Col de Marcieu is the resort for young and old alike: renowned for its play areas, it has one of the largest toboggan areas in Isère, and a beginners’ area. It’s the ideal place for the whole family to start out on the slopes!

The Barioz ski area is one of the largest Nordic ski areas in the Belledonne massif. No fewer than 52 runs are groomed and prepared for Nordic skiing. The alpine area is known as the Grand Plan resort. Suitable for beginners with its snow line, it also offers red and blue runs…

The Plateau des Petites Roches offers a multitude of attractions. Its exceptional panorama, particularly captivating at sunset, is a constant source of admiration. The resort’s play area, popular with children in all seasons, is a major attraction. What’s more, the two small ski resorts on the plateau offer affordable rates, adding to the appeal of this area for winter sports fans.

In winter, Uriage-les-Bains invites you to take a gentle break. Push open the door of the Cultural Centre for a theatrical performance or an evening at the cinema. Gather round the weekly market to find cheeses and local produce under the mountains. And for the ultimate in rejuvenation, the spa opens its arms with treatments, a veritable haven of well-being in the heart of the resort.
