Les 7 Laux hosts the 9th stage of La Grande Odyssée, the international sled dog race. Since its 1st edition in 2005, this annual sled dog event has been the most demanding stage race in a unique alpine setting.
This year, an exceptional sporting line-up is expected, with more than 65 international mushers and their 600 top-level dog-athletes covering almost 400km and 12,000m of accumulated ascent, in the superb landscapes of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Every year, more than 50,000 spectators enjoy a unique experience at the heart of 20 resorts, towns and villages in the region, dressed up for the occasion, by attending La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin.
Usefull tips
A free 50-seater shuttle bus will leave Froges village hall at 2.15pm to take passengers up to Prapoutel. The return journey will leave Prapoutel at 6.30pm. There will also be a stop at Les Adrets.
