Explore the hidden corners of Les 7 Laux in the French Alps during this 24th edition of the legendary Belle Étoile race, an authentic ski mountaineering race, far from the slopes and in the heart of the mountains, totaling some 5000 meters of positive vertical drop.
The Belle Étoile race starts in Les 7 Laux ski resort in the Pipay area. It continues in the heart of the Belledonne massif, between the Bédina ridge, the Dent du Pra, the Cime de la Jasse and the emblematic Pic de la Belle Étoile.

A race for teams of two, which calls for mutual aid and solidarity on alpine routes over two days. It takes place against the majestic backdrop of the Belledonne massif, with deep respect for the mountains, their peace and quiet, and their flora and fauna. The race attracted over 400 racers from all over the world at its 22nd edition in 2024.

Grenoble's ski-mountaineering clubs, Dauphiné Ski Alpinisme and Team Isère Montagne, join forces every year to organize this event, in partnership with the Isère department, Grésivaudan, Les 7 Laux and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
